Goldfrapp's latest single is out in the US today. Seventh Tree's last obvious single choice "Caravan Girl" was tipped as "the Song Of Summer" back in February by XO but the tracklisting for the single is so weak that even some of the bands strongest supporters are left to simply yawn. On the bright side the video is rather nice:

Well you did call the song a summer hit and now it has a chance so you deserve props. While I've found the new singles lacking it hasn't entirely kept me away so I have admit that the choral version of "Caravan Girl" is utterly transcendent. I just wish there was a bit more to the single so I could honestly gush about every release.
